When Egypt becomes the Islamic Republic of Egypt

What is happening in the Egypt? The cabinet was dismissed, but what will really matter is what the army does. If they side with civilians the way the protesters hope then we might have a full-on coup on our hands. On the other hand they might just not really do anything of significance and Mubarak will be able to ride this one out.

Americans can't see the difference because they don't know what is Islam or democracy.

Its already the "Arab Republic of Egypt", which is basically the same shit. This isn't an Islamic revolution, it's a democratic one. When this is over, Egypt will be more theorcratic but not comparable to Iran. The Muslim Brotherhood are pretty liberal and reasonable as far as militant Islamic organizations go. But I get the feeling It will get worse with the Islamic Brotherhood running Egypt

Revolutions across the Arab world result in a power vacuum that is easily filled up by powerful, violent, insane Wahhabi islamists who begin uniting most Arab countries into one Islamic state with the intent of conquering the entire world to be ruled under Islam, starting with Spain, the Balkans, Indonesia and India, which results in a world war where every non-muslim nation in the world unites to destroy and eliminate Islam.

Egypt, you know what you have to do, replace one dictator with another Islamic dictator.

Experience from Census Bureau

I have a friend who recently works for the US Census Bureau. He is assigned to interview residents in an area with a large Spanish-speaking population.

Mexicans and Central Americans were surprisingly easy to work with, though hesitant at first to talk to. They also retain some semblance of courtesy like the men offering their seats to mothers with children and elderly on the bus. The Mexicans could relate to someone who looks vaguely similar to them (my friend is Filipinos), plus they're a bit fearful of "gringos" and wouldn't talk with those Census employees for fear of being ratted out to authorities.

At least Mexicans, Guatemalans, and the like in NYC are humble industrious workers who are trying to support families back home (unlike cholo gangsters in L.A.). The Puerto Ricans & Dominicans- particularly the blacks & mulattoes- are a different story (complete with rough ghettoized Spanish lingo, and hip-hop flavored music).

Korean and Japanese people probably, clean, polite, intelligent, traditional, hard working although they seem to be a bit wierd. He doesn't like other asian people like the Chinese, they have no respect for animals or the environment.

Relatively traditional, as compared to the rabidly anti-traditional and rebelious modern western cultures. The asian countries seem to have at least some vestige of concepts like politeness, honor and controlled personal conduct. The west seems to be missing these almost entirely.

Indians are his favourite, they brought the wonders of curry and are great computer scientists. Iranians are actually pretty cool and the women are beautiful.

Eu 'get no job left in' rope

The better countries in Europe are post-industrial, knowledge-based economies. They make more money from services (finance for instance), innovation, engineering etc than production of goods. Countries like Spain, Greece, etc. are the poorfags of Europe because their industrial bases are crumbling (can't compete with China etc.) and they don't have anything much to offer in terms of knowledge and creativity. Spain specifically is in the shit right now because it was undergoing a false economic boom fuelled by overseas investment, people from the UK and Germany buying second homes there. Now that's dried up, they've got nothing left but hundreds of half-built developments and no jobs.


Europe is not a homgenous mass, and most of their trade is internal. This is why they have never been too bothered about US embargoes and such, and they have carried on trading with Cuba and selling missiles and superguns to Iraq, because it's all business at the end of the day. Europe makes guns, bombs, cars, beer, wine, food, computers, and all that other shit, and they exploit chinese and niggers, and that.


Well they are lazy and kind of entitled. It's all nice though. Europe is not better than America, it's the same, only you never see any of it. Because they keep it to themselves. Anything they produce generally they share with other EU countries, as it is tax free to do so. They don't do much export production outside mostly because only enough production for their own nation: they all have office, media or whatever jobs except the poor who are builders or plumbers which aren't bad careers for poor people. Just like America, the really poor and immigrants become bus drivers and street cleaners.

Congratulation for the award Mr. President

I'm really sad right now. It's pretty hard to look around right now and not feel sad. Here we are, our president just won the Nobel Peace Prize and no one is happy. Why can't we all come together over this? I'm so proud of him.

I realize that he hasn't turned Earth into a conflict-free zone, but who has?

The main reason the international committee gave him the peace prize is because they want to encourage America to elect more president like Obama, compared to a goon like Bush. We have a president who is internationally recognized as the symbol of hope and renewal and all people in this country can do is question him and tear him down. It's heartbreaking.

It should be such a happy day to be an American, and yet it's so sad to look around and see all this ugliness.
