Only children book that scares me.

I saw this book on local library yesterday. Without second thought, I picked it up and borrowed it. When I was 7-8 years old, my mother used to buy short novels every month to encourage me reading, because at that age I was so overwhelmed with manga. I probably still have the Indonesian translation of this book in my house at Bandung, I gave all the novels I have to my younger cousins. I also have seen the TV adaptation of this novel too on Cartoon Network, considering it is a children program it doesn't as violance as what actually occurs in the novel.
